Vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has launched its new electric car Tata Tiago EV in the Indian market. The company has kept its starting price at Rs 8.49 lakh ex-showroom. However, this is the introductory price. That is to say, later this price will change. According to the information given by the company, this price is only for the initial 10,000 units. In such a situation, now the Tiago EV has become the cheapest electric car in India.

According to information received from Tata Motors, the booking of Tata Tiago EV in the Indian market will start from October 10. Let us know that the deliveries of Tata Tiago EV will start from January next year. The Tiago EV is available for sale with two battery packs. In this, customers will get the option to choose a 19.2 kWh battery pack or a larger 24 kWh battery pack. Both the batteries are IP67 certified. That is, there will be no effect of water and dust on these batteries.

If we talk about its range, then on 19.2 kWh battery pack, this car will give a range of 250 km on full charge. Whereas, it will get a range of 315 km on the 24 kWh battery pack. Its 19.2 kWh battery pack is paired to a 45 kW motor, which will get 105 Nm of peak torque. At the same time, its 24 kWh battery pack is paired with a 55 kW motor, which will get 114 Nm of peak torque.
