Government will give 70 percent grant for fisheries by digging ponds in Bihar, know the whole scheme.

Fishing trade has become very popular in rural areas. Farmers are doing fish farming along with farming by digging ponds between the fields. Financial assistance is also being given to the farmers by both the central and state government to adopt this business. In this episode, the Bihar government is also giving up to 70 percent subsidy on the total unit cost of pond construction for animal husbandry in the state.

Under the Chief Minister Integrated Chor Development Scheme 2022-23, the State Animal and Fisheries Resource Department is giving subsidy to the farmers on pond construction. The state government has fixed a unit cost of Rs. 9 lakh 69 thousand for construction of two ponds in one hectare, Rs.

For the construction of all these ponds, 70 percent grant is being given to SC-ST and backward category, 50 percent to general category farmers and 30 percent to individual entrepreneur. Farmers can get a maximum grant of Rs 6 lakh 78 thousand 300 on pond construction. To take advantage of this grant, farmers can apply only till October 18.
